It's been a week-and-a-half since my last post - oops! Sorry about that. I will be better.
Can you believe it's February already? Insane! You are probably wondering (well, probably not, but I'm telling you anyway) how I've been doing with my New Year Resolutions. So far, so good with some. Not so good with others.
Exercise routine is going fantastically. Still going to bootcamp (which is getting harder every time!) and New Mommas Fitness classes (which are also getting harder!) twice a week. Sometimes I do an extra UFIT class in there as well. So basically that one couldn't be going better.
Eating better is going good too. The Pepsi habit has been surprisingly the easiest to break. I have had two cans of pop this month. That's insane to me. I was drinking Pepsi like it was water every single day. Totally addicted to it. I don't crave it as much and can now just enjoy it as a treat. Feeling really good about that one.
Cutting the fast food habit has been going well too. I ate fast food a total of three times which is insane as I was eating it probably five times a week before. When I go out to a restaurant with friends I still get fries but will get a sandwich instead of cheeseburger.
If only I was seeing real results from accomplishing these feats. I am working harder than I ever have in my life in terms of exercise and cutting out my bad habits but I haven't lost any weight at all. It's frustrating but I'm hoping that it's just a slow start. I can't believe that changing my lifestyle this much won't change my body. Fingers crossed that things improve in February. At the very least I can at least know that I am being healthier and that is what is most important.
The goals about printing off my photos and organizing them and working on a baby book and scrapbook for Harrison are not going well. Haven't started. That's what the next 11 months are for, right?
